Puppies, puppies, and did I mention puppies?!

Ah yes today is all about puppies and how I got to spend my entire day with them.... well most of my day.

SSD Bahama just chewing on her tug toy.
Today at school we had a puppy therapy session which I set up! I raise service dogs and got some of the dogs to go to school with me, these dogs just happened to be 8 weeks old, 4 months, and a year old. My day was made the second I walked in there. Yes, I have pictures just wait until the end of this post! These puppies were just the bomb diggity and played and snuggled, ya know typical puppy things. Let's just say that puppies are a huge hit at my college.

That's all I really have so lets insert some puppy photos. Meet SSD Bahama, shes a 4 month old yellow lab in training to be a service dog. Also along with me: SSD Twister, SSD Curi, and SSD Rachel.

First semester of college in the books

Well today was my last day of my first semester at college, and man did the time fly by. And tomorrow my boyfriend comes home from college! It feels like just yesterday we were saying goodbye for a few weeks until I was able to drive up and see him. Funny thing actually, I went up on Monday to see hum and he made the point that he left August 13th for band camp and now it's December 8th. To be honest, it feels like this semester was only 3 weeks long.

Enough of me talking about how fast this semester went. Let's talk about what I've learned.

  • Always arrive to class 15 minutes early (If you're on time you're late and if you're early you're on time)
  • Ask questions in class even if you think they are stupid (There are no stupid questions)
  • READ you syllabus every class, your professor may not mention it in class
  • Do not wait until last minute to do your huge assignments
  • People in college DO NOT care about what you look like or what you enjoy
  • Make friend and form study groups
There are several more things, but it is late and my brain is mush right now.

Blitz says it is time for bed.

Finals Week

Well, this week is that dreaded week for all college students... Finals week.

Since this is my first semester in college it is all new to me, and honestly I had no idea what to expect. We all had those finals in high school but college is 10 times worse. My first final was my english final, that final was extremely easy considering my teacher pretty much gave us the answers on our final review last week. My second final is tomorrow, I'm not quite sure on how that will go I will update you guys on how it went.

Since I had my english final today my teacher told me I could not jump up to the next class, which upset me a lot considering I worked so hard to, but like I said that final just killed me. I finished the class with a 90% which isn't bad at all but still. So I had to redo my whole schedule for next semester while doing that my cat (Curi) decided she wanted to play with my bed and my notebook. So of course she was being so cute I just had to stop what I was doing to play with her and love her.

I eventually did get my scheduling done, and I am all set for the spring semester and on my way to transferring out to a different college.. Wooh!

Well, that's all for today! Until next time, stay smiling! :)

Welcome to my blog!

Hello, everybody and welcome to my blog!

Let me introduce myself, I'm Catie! I'm 18 years old and a freshman in college! I have a crazy family including my: mom, dad, sister, and brother. I also have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a rabbit. In my free time I love crocheting, hanging out with my boyfriend (You'll hear about him a lot) as well as my friends, and playing Call of Duty.

The reason I'm starting this blog is because I want to be able to write and show everyone what its like to be a typical 18-year-old girl with a crazy life. Also, to look back and see what I have done and just to document my days. My plan is to write something at least every day or every other day,

Well, sit back and enjoy this wild rollercoaster ride I call my life!
